Iphone 14 pro new leaks

Iphone 14 pro new leaks

The iPhone’s colors have been a hot topic since the iPhone 3G when a sultry-white version was released. Only with the iPhone 5c, did other colors become available. But now every release has its own color palette. The actual colors may be slightly different from what was announced.

What can we expect for this year? A series of renders has just been released, which show what the iPhone 14 Pro could look like.

The current iPhone 13 Pro was launched in four colors with an additional color added later. However, these images show five colors that are believed to be available at launch.

So while there were Graphite and Silver, Gold, Sierra Blue, Gold, and Gold for the iPhone 13 Pro last September, Alpine Green was recently added.

The expected shades for 2022 are five. This is more than I would have expected.

Ian Zelbo’s new renderings suggest that Graphite and Silver will be Apple’s preferred colors for the Pro iPhones this year.

Apple has never released the Pro iPhone in five colors. That’s why I am skeptical.

Purple is the fifth color and a departure from others.

Although there have been two iPhones that were purple, the iPhone Pro has never been produced. While previous videos showed a deep purple color, Zelbo’s renderings are closer to the earlier purple iPhones.

This is because the previous iPhones that were purple have been wisteria or mauve at best. This is a beautiful phone, but it’s not the deep, punchy, purple I was looking for.

If there’s a purple iphone 14 pro max colors, it will be my delight.

However, rumors about the regular iPhone 14 suggest that there may be a purple color in the phone. This is in addition to Green, Blue and Black, as well as White, PRODUCT(RED) and White.

Zelbo comes to the rescue for those who want a darker shade. The iPhone 14 in purple is stunningly attractive, according to Zelbo’s renders. Fingers crossed.

iPhone 14 Pro cheatsheet: Everything that’s New

  • The notch has been removed and is in its place. This is a cut-out that is pill-shaped to house the Front-facing camera and Face ID sensors.
  • This cutout is known as the “Dynamic Island”. It changes in size depending on background activity, calls, Face ID use, AirPods charged, and other alerts.
  • The new display has a brighter 1,600 nits LED and slimmer bezels. Peak brightness is a whopping 2,000 nits, which can be used in direct sunlight.
  • The Always on display is now available thanks to new tech. It allows for refresh rates as low at 1Hz and a new LTPO panel that can dim the screen to low-power mode.
  • The new A16 Bionic Chip combines the power of 16 million transistors with efficiency. It is built on a 4-naonmeter process with a 6-core CPU which beats the A15 Bionic but consumes less power than the rest. Think Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The Dynamic Island now has a 5-core GPU with 50% more bandwidth, and a display engine. To aid in computational photography, the Neural Engine can now perform 17 trillion operations per second.
  • The 48MP new camera promises better low-light photos and more detail than the iPhone 13 Pro. This is thanks to Apple’s Photonic Engine. PRORAW can also work with uncompressed 48-megapixel photos. This gives you more flexibility to adjust white balance and tone mapping.
  • All three cameras (main camera, telephoto and ultrawide) get better low-light photography. This is possible with a new flash that features 9 LEDs.
  • There’s 4K resolution with 40 frames per second in Cinematic mode. The new action mode can be used for better video stabilization.
  • Apple promises ” all-day battery life.”
  • The iPhone 14 Pro also has crash detection, so it can automatically dial emergency services if you have been in a crash.
  • The iPhone 14 Pro starts at $999 (AU$1,749), and the iPhone 14 Pro Max at 1,099 (AU$1,899). Pre-orders will be available September 9 and a full release September 16.

iPhone 14 Pro Release Date

  • The iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be available for purchase September 16.
  • Pre-ordering both iPhone 14 Pro models can be done on September 9 for those who want to jump ahead of the crowds.
  • T-Mobile US customers can get up to $1,000 off an iPhone 14 Pro by trading in their old phone. You could receive the base iPhone 14 Pro free of charge.

iPhone 14 Pro price

  • Despite rumors of a price hike, the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max will remain at their original prices of $999 (AU$1,749), and $1,099 respectively (AU$1,899).
  • This seems quite generous for Apple, considering the upgrade options. However, the 128GB starting storage remains unchanged. This may be a problem for some.
  • The phones are available in four colors: Space Black (Silver), Gold (Gold), and Deep Purple (New).

iPhone 14 Pro design and display

It seems that all the rumors and leaks were correct: Apple has finally removed the display notch from the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max. It has been replaced by a single, pill-shaped display.

You might be tempted to think that a pill-shaped phone would look stupid, considering many of the top Android phones use single punch-hole camera cutouts. The Dynamic Island offers enhanced functionality.

Apple calls it the “strange name” for the cut-out that can expand via software and graphics to communicate a variety of alerts. It can be used to confirm AirPods are connected correctly, show the phone has started charging, or even indicate music playing.

The display size remains at 6.1 inches for iPhone 14 Pro Max and 6.7 inches respectively for iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The bezels are slimmer and a new LTPO panel allows for a lower refresh rate of 120Hz to 1Hz. This allows for battery life to be conserved even when Always-on is enabled. It can display notifications and information even if the iPhone is locked.

For those who enjoy watching iPhones’ movements, the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max have 1,600 and 2,000 nits respectively. Outdoor use can be done outdoors with the iPhone 14 Pro Max.¬†This is brighter than the Samsung Galaxy S22 UHT0_.

The design of the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max are very similar to the iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The edges are still flat and made of stainless steel like before.

iPhone 14 Pro cameras

According to rumors, both the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max have new 48-megapixel main cameras.

These will allow for higher resolution photos, better low-light photography and more detail at a lower price point.¬†There’s more than just a specs boost.

The new quad-pixel sensor allows the main camera to combine four pixels into one large quad, equivalent to 2.44 um. This allows the sensor to adjust to the shot being taken. While photos are defaulted to 12MP resolution, the new main camera can capture more detail and allow in more light.

The¬†ProRAW¬†mode allows for uncompressed 48MP photos, which really emphasizes the “pro” element of the Pro iPhone. This gives you a lot more editing possibilities.¬†The 48MP camera can capture 4K videos at 30 frames per seconds in Cinematic mode. Unfortunately, there is no 8K video.

The second-generation sensor-shift optical imaging stabilization and smart processing by the A16 Bionic chip’s Neural Engine (more later) provide a new action mode for video stabilization while moving at high speeds across difficult terrain.

The 48MP camera can also enable a 2x zoom mode using the middle 12 MPs of the main sensor. This allows for high-resolution photos as well as 4K videos without digital zoom.

The ultrawide and telephoto cameras still stick at 12MP but have been upgraded. The telephoto camera has a 6x optical zoom range, but still offers 3x optical zoom. The ultrawide camera uses 1.4um pixels to produce sharper images and a better macro mode.

The TrueDepth 12MP front-facing camera features an f/1.9 aperture which allows for better low-light performance in photos and video. It also has autofocus for the very first time. This will allow for better low light photo capture as well as improved group shots from farther away.

Apple’s new Photonic Engine promises improved computational photography performance for all three cameras. It offers a 2x boost for the main camera, 3x for the ultrawide, 2x on telephoto, and 2x on telephoto. There is also a 2x improvement in front-facing camera.

The Photonic Engine, which is based on Apple’s Deep Fusion AI tech, will process more detail in photos, while keeping subtle textures intact, providing better color and maintaining more information within a photo.

A new “Adaptive True tone flash” uses nine LEDs to adapt to lighting conditions, and boost low-light photography.

iPhone 14 Pro chipset, battery life

Both the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max get the A16 Bionic chips.¬†The 6-core CPU builds upon the already powerful A15 Bionic and is up to 40% faster (think Qualcomm’s¬†Snapdragon8 Gen 1).¬†The chip’s two high performance cores consume 20% less electricity than the previous model, despite being 4-nanometres in size and boasting 16 billion transistors.

The 5-core GPU has 50% more bandwidth which should allow for better gaming performance and more graphically-intensive apps. To support the Dynamic Island, a display engine was added to the mix.

iPhones have never been slow, and the Neural Engine can now perform 17 trillion operations per second (and 4 trillion per photo).¬†It should make the iPhone 14 Pro’s computational photo skills very impressive, working in conjunction with the image signal process.

Apple did not reveal the battery size of its iPhone 14 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max, but they promised that both will provide “all-day” battery life.¬†We will have to test that claim in our testing.¬†A 20W adapter can charge the battery quickly, filling it up to 50% in just 30 minutes.

Although RAM was not mentioned, expect the iPhone 14 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max smartphones to be lightning fast. You can choose from 128GB,256GB,512GB or 1TB storage options.

iPhone 14 Pro outlook

Although it may seem like an incremental upgrade, these changes could be enough to give you a significant iPhone update.

Although Dynamic Island may sound odd, it could be a model for display cut-outs and notches that can be used as an advantage rather than a nuisance. The alert feature can be used for any number of smart purposes, thanks to third-party support.

There’s also the 48MP camera.¬†Although Android phones can take high-megapixel photos, Apple’s computational photography could set a new standard in¬†best cameras phones.

Before drawing any conclusions, we will need to actually test the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Check out our iPhone 14 Pro Max hands on review.

Future iPhone Rumors

iPhone 14 Pro y iPhone 14 Pro Max: Apple mejora sus móviles insignia con unas cámaras impresionantes y se deshace por fin del 'notch'

Apple’s first allscreen smartphone could¬†launch in 2024¬†with Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro.¬†According to Ming-Chi Kuo Apple analyst, the device could be the first to have under-display face ID and an underscreen front camera. However, Ross Young, a display analyst, expects an underscreen camera to debut with the iPhone 18 Pro.

According to Ross Young, display analyst, 2023 iPhones will feature the same¬†with a dual-hole cutout¬†like this year’s iPhone 14 Pro models.¬†The 2023 models will feature the same design, with¬†circular cutouts and a pill-shaped cutout. This feature is not limited to the Pro models.¬†Although the pill and hole design may shrink slightly, Apple will still be ready to offer full under-display FaceID in a few years.

USB-C

According to Bloomberg, Apple analyst MingChi Kuo, Apple will choose a USB-C port instead of a Lightning connector in 2023. This would make USB-C the default charging method for all iPhone 15 models.

Multiple sources claim that Apple will continue to use Lightning. However, the European Union has passed new legislation that would require Apple to use USB-C for all its devices that are sold in Europe. Apple would have to either ship specific USB-C models to Europe or make changes across all its devices if this legislation is passed.

In-House Modem Chips

Apple is currently working to create its own modem chips. This will enable the company reduce its dependence on modem chip suppliers.¬†Apple purchased the majority of Intel’s smartphone modem businesses in 2019. This has accelerated development.

Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst, recently stated that Apple¬†could switch¬†to its 5G modems in 2023.¬†Apple will be able to design its own modems and eliminate the need for Qualcomm.¬†Although 2023 is the “earliest”, multiple rumors suggest that TSMC, Apple’s chip supplier, will be¬†ready in 2023 to produce¬†Apple modem chips.

Periscope Lens

A periscope Telephoto Lens could be introduced in 2023 iPhone models if it is not ready for release.

Face ID for Under-Display

Multiple rumors suggest that Apple is looking at ways to remove the notch from the display by placing the hardware for Face ID underneath it.¬†Although it was originally believed that Apple might adopt under-display Face ID technology in 2022, Ross Young, a display analyst, says that components such as the infrared camera won’t be moved¬†below the display¬†until 2023 and 2024.

Flip iPhone

Apple may also introduce a foldable iPhone in the near future. This is based on rumors and patents that Apple has published as well as competition from Samsung and Microsoft, who have already developed foldable smartphones.

According to¬†Bloomberg¬†Apple¬†has begun¬†“early works” on an iPhone with foldable displays, but has yet to release a folding device.¬†Although rumors suggest that a foldable device could be released as soon as 2024, it is more likely that it will be released by 2025.

iPhone 14 vs iPhone 14 Pro: Screen sizes

iPhone 14 Pro screens

The standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro have the same screen sizes for the first time ever. You can choose between a 6.1 inch or 6.7 inch screen, regardless of which family you choose. This is a significant difference from the previous two years when only the highest-tier Pro Max was available for those wanting the largest 6.7 inch screen.

Keeping that in mind, the screen technology and features of these two models are vastly different. The iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max have ProMotion display technology, which allows for smoother animations. Also, they feature the Digital Island, which replaces the notch and is the first ever Always-On display.

The iPhone 14 Pro’s always-on display allows the screen to show your lock screen widgets, time and wallpaper at all times.¬†Apple’s first ever Always-On display has been implemented on the iPhone.

The Digital Island¬†replaces the notch with a new level¬†of interactivity.¬†To access more options and controls, tap and hold.¬†You can see album art, controls for FaceTime and background activities on the Dynamic Island.¬†You can also see the live notifications in the Dynamic Island’s new iOS 16 feature, Live Activities.

These are the main differences between the displays. However, there are other technical details. The iPhone 14 vs iPhone 14 Pro display technology is broken down.

Design and size

Design and size iphone 14 vs iphone 14 pro

Despite sharing the same screen sizes, there are significant differences in the design and dimensions between the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro lineups. There are differences in the materials used, weight and other aspects.

The approximate dimensions of each model’s iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are identical, as you can see from the chart.¬†The most significant difference is in weight. Both the iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max weigh significantly more than their non-Pro counterparts.¬†This is due to the heavier stainless-steel edges, larger camera modules (more details in a bit), as well as the larger batteries.

Here’s what you need to know.

Performance

Apple has split the performance of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro for the first time ever.¬†The iPhone 14 models use an upgraded version the A15 chip from last year, but with an additional GPU core.¬†Apple’s latest A16 Bionic chip is used in the iPhone 14 Pro models. It’s Apple’s first 4nm processor.

We are still waiting for the details about iPhone 14 vs iPhone 14 Pro’s performance.¬†However, the fact is that iPhone performance is currently too high for most buyers.

Here is a comparison of the specifications for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14.

Camera

iPhone 14 vs iPhone 14 pro camera

The biggest difference between the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro is the camera technology. This year, the gap between iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro has been even wider than ever before. The new 48MP main camera on the iPhone 14 Pro uses quad-pixel technology for adapting to the image being taken.

The new Photonic Engine is available on both the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro.¬†Apple calls this a new computational photography feature. It offers “a huge leap for mid to low-light performance with photos across all cameras through deep integration of hardware, software.”

Apple claims that the iPhone 14 will offer improved performance in mid-to low-light conditions, with a 2x Ultra Wide camera, 2x TrueDepth cameras, and 2.5x Main camera.

The iPhone 14 Pro offers even more benefits: up to 2x for the Main camera, 3x for the Ultra Wide camera and 2x for the Telephoto camera.

These are more technical details about the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro cameras systems.
