On Friday, the Boston Bruins came from behind to beat the Carolina Hurricanes, 3-2, setting an NHL record by winning each of their first 12 home games to start the season.
After the victory, many from the Bruins, including head coach Jim Montgomery, shared their thoughts about the miraculous feat.
While there’s no doubt he had a hand in the streak, Montgomery gave all the credit to his team, saying it doesn’t happen “if those guys don’t believe in themselves like they do.”
